In its capacity as a high-tech enterprise, Shangda provides services as the Hebei Enterprise Technology Center, Hebei Special Alloy Regeneration Engineering Technology Research Center, and National Resource Comprehensive Utilization (Waste Alloy Regeneration Utilization) Industry Technology Center. It has instituted an academician workstation and a postdoctoral innovation practice base, while also forging lasting technical partnerships with the Institute of Metals of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, University of Science and Technology Beijing, AEEC Beijing Institute of Aeronautical materials, and the Central Iron & Steel Research Institute.

Shangda possessing strong R& D capability has employed several renowned experts in metallurgy to reinforce its technical talent pools and owned a R& D group of core technologies, including 4 professor-level senior engineers, 14 senior engineers and 15 doctors.
It’s equipped with R& D test and detection equipment of professionalization, a production line of pilot scale test and a complete set of domestic first-class detecting equipment specializing in physical and chemical properties of metallic materials.

Core Technologies
Shangda has independently developed an industry-leading automatic pollution-free cleaning technology with full automation capabilities, spanning from raw material input to finished product output. The technology boasts multiple functions, including cleaning, sorting, automatic sampling, identification, and cleanliness detection. It is highly effective at removing metal and non-metal impurities generated during mechanical processing and storage, whilst preserving the original components and purity of high-temperature alloy scraps. As such, it can be directly used as raw materials or alloy materials to produce high-temperature alloys and other high-end special alloys.
Utilizing the most advanced international triple vacuum smelting process, Shangda has developed a technical system for vacuum purification, special slag system de-inclusion, and argon blowing degassing de-inclusion. The resulting product quality fully meets customers technical requirements.
Research and Development Products
Shangda has successfully accomplished the R&D of large-caliber ultra-pure controlled nitrogen 316LN new products and has achieved their localization. This material places stringent standards on the inclusion factor, resulting in higher manufacturing difficulty. Moreover, the material exhibits an elevated strength compared to its predecessor and presents with improved ductility and toughness.
