Special Melting Equipments and Features

Vacuum Induction Melting Furnace of type VIM-VIDP1000 is capable to produce vacuum bars in the range of diameter Φ80-Φ580mm, length 1000-4000mm, and weight 0.04-6 tons. This type of VIM Furnace has two crucibles with the capacity of 3 tons and 6 tons, separated melting chamber, top loading chamber, side loading chamber, ingot casting chamber and chute room. This Furnace equipped powerful vacuum system with maximum vacuum degree of 0.07 Pa, Leakage bearing of 32Pa·L/s, is capable to achieve extremely low con-tent of elements O, N, and H. It has two layer of slag holder and ceramic filter to ensure the purity of the molten steel, and the reliability of product quality in the equipment point of view.



Vacuum Arc Remelting furnace of type VAR L660 P6 is capable to produce VAR ingots in the range of diameter Φ303-Φ660mm, length 1500-2700mm, and weight 1-6 tons. This furnace is type H of rotary type furnace bady with dual working station. The design of Helium Cooling and Rapid layer water jacket sys-tem reduce the segregation in maximum limit. X-Y electrode adjust system is ef-fected in ensuring the consistent of melting environment. Cooling intensity au-tomatic control system makes the product has the homogeneous structure. Ef-fective vacuum system achieve the maximum vacuum degree of 0.08Pa. High precision weighting system makes the weighting accuracy achieving 0.125%. The whole processing computer control including welding, arcing, melting and filling ensure the products in a very high quality. The parameters of the smelting process were recorded and generated by computer immediately, which can be observed and stored automatically, keep the product permanent traceability.

6-ton Vacuum Arc Remelting

18-ton Electroslag Remelting

Electroslag Remelting Furnace of type FB 830/17 WIII is capable to pro-duce ingots in the range of diameter Φ360-Φ820mm, length 1000-4000mm, and weight 1-18 tons. The design of coaxial conductive reduces the consump-tion of electricity and the interference of stray magnetic field. High precision weighting system controls the melting accurately. X-Y electrode adjust system is effected in ensuring the consistent of melting environment. Inactive gas control system is effected in decreasing the burning loss of active elements and pre-venting the increase of element O, N and H. Melting speed, melting liquid height level and slag resistance fluctuations automatic control system ensure the melt-ing in a preferred state in case of any abnormalities happend in the melting process. All important parameters are recorded by computer and generate trend chart which is available to check and saved automatically, ensuring the permanent traceability of products.

18-ton Argon Protection Electroslag Remelting

The capability and parameter of special melting equipments of AVIC Shangda represented the international advanced level. AVIC Shangda is capable to provide high quality special alloys in aviation, aerospace, nuclear power, petrochemical, marine and electronic industry, etc.

Refinery Equipments and Features

Main equipments include one set of 2# Purification Furnace, Electric Furnace, Argon Oxygen Decarburization(AOD), Ladle Furnace, VD/VOD for charge weights of 20 tons, one set of 2# Purification Furnace for charge weights of 3 tones, and three die casting production lines with argon protection atmosphere. AVIC Shangda fully equipped with refinery equipments, which is capable to produce material with ultra-low carbon, ultra-low phosphor and ultra-low sulfur and high alloys. Main products include superalloys, anticorrosion alloys, precision alloys, special stainless steel and high grade tool and die steel.

Forging Equipments and Features

Main equipments include two sets of forging machines with forging power of 25MN and 8MN, 5 compartment type heating furnaces, 2 trolley type heating furnaces, 5 thermal treatment furnaces. Finishing equipments include horizontal lathe, vertical lathe, planomiller, boring mill, planing machine, band saw and sharpening machine, which is effected in surface machining for forging pieces, and ensured the products surface quality. Main products include superalloys, anticorrosion alloys, precision alloys, special stainless steel, high grade tool and die steel structural alloys, etc. Product types include round bars, flat steel, die steel, step shaft, pie shaped pieces, ring pieces, tubes, etc.

Rolling equipment and Features

Open-train mill is a dedicated rolling equipment for superalloys and high deforming special alloys. Main equipments include type 450 rolling machine, type 320 rolling machine, type 90 straightening machine, type 40 straightening machine with 7 rollers hyperbolic curve, type 40 straightening machine with 11 rollers, type 100 flaying machine, type 40 flaying machine, type 83 centerless grinding machine and type 80 centerless grinding machine. Which is capable to roll high grade alloy round bars with diameter of Φ10-Φ80mm.
